Use of the app

Users agree to use catch a rainbow responsibly and follow applicable laws. The app is provided for general information, recreation, and community sharing.

Weather predictions and safety

Rainbow predictions, alerts, directions, and weather observations are estimates. They are not guarantees and are not official weather warnings. Do not rely on catch a rainbow for personal safety, emergency planning, severe weather decisions, driving, travel, or decisions about whether it is safe to go outside. Users remain responsible for checking official conditions and using their own judgment.

No warranties

Catch a Rainbow is provided as available and without warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ColorLife LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from weather information, missed or incorrect predictions, alerts, user content, service interruptions, location information, or use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Photo uploads and user content

Signed in users may share rainbow photos or related sky images they have the right to use. Users are responsible for their content and for obtaining any needed permission. Do not share unlawful, harmful, misleading, private, abusive, sexually explicit, violent, or infringing content. By sharing content publicly, users give ColorLife LLC permission to store, display, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote catch a rainbow. Users keep ownership of their content.

Community conduct and moderation

Users must not harass others, impersonate another person, misuse reporting or blocking tools, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the app for unlawful purposes. ColorLife LLC may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, operate the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

User responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, a user agrees to reimburse ColorLife LLC for reasonable losses, claims, and expenses caused by that user’s unlawful content, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these terms.

Service changes

Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. These terms may also be updated. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.

Governing law and severability

These terms are governed by Illinois law, except where another law must apply. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
